Notify Mi Band 1.3.0 with application icons support

It's been a long time, I guess, but we didn't forget about you, our dear users! Here comes a new update for Notify Mi Band with next features.

Displaying of application icons for Mi Band 2

You need to enable this feature in the settings of the app.

Supported applications list is limited because the icons are a part of the band's firmware. But you can find next apps among supported:

• Facebook and Facebook BETA,
• Twitter, Tweetium and Peregrine,
• WhatsApp,
• Instagram BETA and 6tag,
• Mail and Calendar,
• Messenger and Messenger BETA,
• Microsoft Phone (still only missed calls),
• Microsoft Messaging,
• Line,
• Telegram,
• IM+,
• Skype and Skype for business,
• VK (atm there is an OS bug which prevents notifications to arrive, but we hope it will be fixed soon),
• Hangouts (GMessenger Pro/GMessenger Free),
• WeChat,
• QQ,
• Weibo, 
• Taobao

Under the supported apps in the list, you will see a mark if the app has an icon available when the feature is enabled.

Warning: you need the latest firmware of Mi Band to make this work. You can always update it with Bind Mi Band app.

Please, report if you see any issues with the list above or have candidates for 3rd-party apps for above-mentioned services.

Disable notifications when phone is unlocked

Might be handy, since you can sometimes already have seen the notification when it arrives on the band.

Extra vibration

An owner of Mi Band 1? We didn't forget about you!

In this update we added a possibility to assign an extra vibration for some of the apps, which don't have an icon available. In this way, it can help to distinguish notifications from apps with a higher priority (especially good for owners of Mi Band 1).

To toggle extra vibration - just tap application item in the list.

Btw, did you know that you can also remove apps from the list if you removed it from the phone? Just tap an app in the list and select "remove" option.



Also, you will find improved UX and touch responsiveness on some parts of UI, more informative warnings, better onboarding experience.

Despite all the rumors, we are still not able to receive incoming calls information from OS. We keep watching official announcements and will try out and ship working solutions ASAP.
