Notify Mi Band and update 1.18

Trick or treat? Treat!

So much waited notifications feature is coming into our system from today! Having it on Halloween isn't a bad sign, right? :)

By a number of reasons, we decided to make it as a separate app "Notify Mi Band" which is now in a 'beta' state. Good news is that the beta is public and the app is free! Follow the link to get it: https://www.microsoft.com/store/apps/9nblggh528kp

          

But before you proceed, there are couple things to know:

1. You need Windows 10 Mobile with Anniversary Update. Only this version of OS or later is capable of sending notifications (haven't tried with Insider Preview, but the issue seems to be there).
2. You need to update your "Bind Mi Band" app to version 1.18, go to "settings" page and press "Authorize" button for "Notify Mi Band". 
3. Run "Notify Mi Band" and give it all permissions it is asking for.
4. That's, basically, all!
5. *Apps list in the app will be populated when new notifications arrive.

What does the "Notify Mi Band" do?

It receives all the toast notifications and sends vibrations to the band. This perfectly works with SMS, emails or chat messages. Unfortunately, we can't get info about phonecalls now, but if you miss a call, you will get a toast and subsequentially a vibration!

As you can see from screenshots, you can enable/disable all notifications or notifications only from specific apps. Also, you can configure schedule and set time when you want to receive vibrations.

There are some issues with authorization flow which may require you closing "Bind Mi Band" app to proceed, but after that, everything should be flawless.

As for "Bind Mi Band", there are no major visible improvements there, only tiny fixes and support for "Notify Mi Band". Internally many things changed in a good way, of course :)

Next update will be focused on new features of Mi Band 2 and other things. But plans may change, who knows...
